Stitching wire and technical requirements
Stitching wire should be made of low-carbon wire rod in accordance with GOST 14-15-193-86, GOST 1050-88 or other NTD.
The surface of the printing wire should be free from cracks, captivity, sunsets and rust. The coating on the wire should be continuous, without gaps and cracks visible without the use of magnifying devices.
Non-uniformity of the surface of galvanized printing wire in color, white spots and white bloom in the form of adhered zinc oxide are allowed if the coating meets the standards.
Local beads of zinc are allowed, increasing the actual wire diameter by an amount not exceeding the plus limit deviation.
The adhesion of the zinc and copper coating to the steel base must be strong. The coating should not crack and peel off during spiral winding of the wire with six tight turns on a cylindrical mandrel with a diameter equal to four times the diameter of the wound wire.
Surface dust-like peeling of zinc coating on coiled samples of galvanized wire is allowed.
The surface density of zinc, the number and duration of immersion of the wire in a solution of copper sulfate must comply with the standards.
Printing wire is supplied in coils consisting of one piece. Polygraphic wire should be wound in dense, not tangled rows and unwind freely from the coils. When freeing the skeins from knitting, the wire should not be rolled up into a "figure eight".
A label must be firmly attached to each coil or coil of printing wire, indicating:
a) the trade mark or the name and trade mark of the manufacturer;
b) conventional designation of the printing wire:
c) the stamp of the technical control department.
Printing wire in packaging
Each coil of wire must be tied with a heat-treated polygraphic wire in accordance with GOST 3282-74 or another heat-treated wire in accordance with the normative and technical documentation in at least three places evenly spaced around the circumference of the coil. The ends of the skein should be neatly arranged and easily found.
Coils of wire of one diameter and one type of surface can be tied into coils.
Uncoated printing wire should be coated with a thin layer of conservation oil.
By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, it is allowed not to lubricate the uncoated wire.
Coils of wire with a diameter of 0.6 mm or less should be wrapped in a layer of paper and packed in dense wooden boxes or other containers (metal, cardboard, plastic), made according to regulatory and technical documentation.
Coils of wire with a diameter over 0.6 mm should be wrapped with a layer of paper, then a layer of plastic film or fabric.
The weight of the package must not exceed 80 kg. By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, it is allowed to increase the weight of the package. The gross weight of the wire in a metal container should be no more than 250-300 kg.
Cargo packages are formed into transport packages according to the rules for the carriage of goods approved by the relevant departments.
